Soludo establishes bureau of missing persons in Anambra

The Anambra state government under Governor Charles Soludo has approved the establishment of a bureau of missing persons.

 

Paul Nwosu, the commissioner for Information in a statement on Saturday, April 22, 2023, said the approval was made at the state executive council meeting.

 

He said that the bureau would be domiciled in the Ministry of Justice.

 

 

He said the establishment of the bureau was part of the fulfillment of the recommendation by the Truth, Justice and Peace Commission.

 

The commission, which had Chidi Odinkalu as chairman, Bianca Ojukwu as secretary and Sylvia Ifemeje the commissioner of Justice as members submitted its report to Gov. Chukwuma Soludo on February 17.
